Topside shoots have to be prepared in detail, but this is even more important for marine and underwater shoots – not only because specific equipment is needed, but also because the environment can be rough and difficult. The weather and sea conditions can have a significant impact on the shoot and a Plan B is essential. In an underwater studio, if everything is carefully prepared and tested, a shoot is just like any other, but a lack of specialist preparation can lead to a nightmare.
The crew’s expertise is essential for the success of a marine and underwater shoot in both a natural environment and in an indoor studio.
We are here to contribute to the success of your project by employing the right team, using the right equipment, and assisting you in carefully preparing the logistics of the shoot.
I captured my first underwater still photography shots while on a family vacation in Rangiroa Atoll, French Polynesia, back in 1982 when I was just 10 years old. Little did I know at the time, but this experience would significantly influence the course of my life.
The Nikonos underwater camera became my closest companion during my early years. Later on, I borrowed a Super 8mm camera from my father and, using a splash bag, ventured into underwater cinematography. This marked the beginning of my career in underwater motion picture production.
Each film is unique and needs individual and detailed attention.
