Based in Cannes on the French Riviera, and Paris, Nationale 7 Films is a leading film and photo production services company with extensive experience with marine and underwater shoots.

The company was founded by experienced Cinematographer Denis LAGRANGE.

Denis has a Masters Degree in Finance and is a member of the AFC (French Society of Cinematographers). He has worked extensively as a Cinematographer and Film Director and has all-encompassing knowledge on the workings of a film shoot.

We are a natural choice for English speaking productions because our crew works regularly in the international environment.

The French Riviera is known for its transparent blue waters and its amazing landscapes like the Esterel and the Provence backcountry side.
Cannes, Nice, Saint Tropez, Monaco are some of the most famous and pristine locations in the area.

Cost

The French Riviera can be an affordable place to shoot and is serviced by major International airlines with multiple direct flights per week.

Tax credit

A 30% or 40% tax rebate on TV drama & Movie productions is available under certain conditions.

Logistics

Professionals and experienced crew are available locally. Visas are not required for EU, EEA and Swiss nationals. Otherwise, Short-stay Visa or Long-stay Visa are required for stays under and over 90 days. ATA carnets are accepted for temporary import of equipment.

Weather

Year-round Mediterranean climate. The best period to shoot on the French Riviera is between June and October.

Travel

Direct flight from all over the world are making the French Riviera an affordable and accessible prestigious Mediterranean destination (UTC+2 zone time).

Nationale 7 Films has extensive experience in marine and underwater shoots. We can supply all kinds of filming equipment including underwater camera housings, underwater lighting and grip, underwater communication systems and dive gears.

We can also supply stunts, models, doubles, actress/actors with marine or underwater expertise for your shoot.

Productions & Co-Productions

Nationale 7 Films can produce or co-produce your film or help you to find funding though its Productions network. We have extensive experience with Marine and Underwater shoots.

Photo Production Services

Nationale 7 Films can also supply Ad Print Services with Professional Photographers (from topside to underwater).

WE OFFER EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Underwater camera housings for RED, ARRI, Sony cameras, Grip for UW/Marine use, UW lightening systems, UW Communication systems, Special boat units.

Nationale 7 Films will help you to organize the logistical aspects of your shoot, including plane tickets, lodging, meeting rooms, transfers, any kind of logistic, equipment rental, technicians and local crew, special permits, and all other services needed for a production.

Denis is a certified drone pilot with a French/European drone license.

We can supply special boat support dedicated to our film shoots.
